In our day to day life we are experiencing new kinds of problem. Our environment is facing new type of pollution. Green house effect is the gradual warning of the air surrounding the earth as a result of heat being trapped by environmental pollution.
There are many causes of green house effect. The destruction and cutting down of tropical rain forests, vehicles that close up city streets, the rapid growth of population, the use of chlorofluorocarbons, the use of detergents and various kinds of environmental pollutions are the causes of green house effect, carbon dioxide gas is produced by the burning of fossil fuels and forests. The carbon dioxide is given off when Coal and oil are burnt. As a result the ice covering the north and south poles is melting and many eventually lead to a rise in sea levels which can flood many areas of the world scientists have already given warring that some parts of coastal countries including Bangladesh may go under water due to green house effect.
An oft quoted proverb is that prevention is better than cure. So it is high time to take necessary steps for preventing green house effect. We should plant trees more instead of cutting down trees unconsciously mills, factories, and brick fields should be set up in a planned way. Alarming rate of population growth should be checked vehicles should be brought under control. In a word we should keep the environment clean and free from all kinds of pollutions.
